Poetry by Martin - Verses from life

About
These are some of the compositions of my son-in-law, which I am putting here to share with anyone who enjoys them. The selection and format is mine, the inspiration and punctuation are all his.

Comments on the content should go to him, he generally writes them as a single long paragraph, if you don't like the presentation you should comment to me.

    Shooting Trap (07:05)

As my clay bird takes sudden flight
I pause, take aim, and fire.
I hope my shot is true
      so I can score again.
As I hope to be true with aim and time
      another bird has fallen.
