Poetry by Martin - Verses from life

About
These are some of the compositions of my son-in-law, which I am putting here to share with anyone who enjoys them. The selection and format is mine, the inspiration and punctuation are all his.

Comments on the content should go to him, he generally writes them as a single long paragraph, if you don't like the presentation you should comment to me.

    Rapids - undated (18:25)

As I look upon the rushing water I see an obstacle.
With plants, animals & earth, I see the nourishment and renewal:
Should we view the rapids of life as an obstacle
or a challenge to be embraced,
to help us grow anew with more strength and vitality
Let us pass the rushing water
and wander on the fresh meadow beyond.
