Poetry by Martin - Verses from life

About
These are some of the compositions of my son-in-law, which I am putting here to share with anyone who enjoys them. The selection and format is mine, the inspiration and punctuation are all his.

Comments on the content should go to him, he generally writes them as a single long paragraph, if you don't like the presentation you should comment to me.

    Dance - undated (21:10)

I dance around the table seeking home,
You try your best to let me sleep in my hole.
When all is done we will all sleep at night
and awaken for a new game tomorrow.

    The Stranger - undated (20:47)

The stranger stalks us in our darkness,
I can run and hide but the darkness follows.
I only seek the path to the light,
Help me find the bright blue sky with the sun shining above
Green grass makes my feet feel as id I were floating on air,
Look around and see my perfect world that would be.
