Poetry by Martin - Verses from life

About
These are some of the compositions of my son-in-law, which I am putting here to share with anyone who enjoys them. The selection and format is mine, the inspiration and punctuation are all his.

Comments on the content should go to him, he generally writes them as a single long paragraph, if you don't like the presentation you should comment to me.

    My Children - undated (15:10)

Look above and see my light; as I look down and watch over my children
I rejoice at what I see, I enjoy what I have made,
rejoice as each new dawn shines over the horizon.
Eat what I have provided, grow strong and give something back,
as I continue to nourish you we'll be one again.
As the grass grows and the plants florish a balance can be found.
Do not trample my roots, share with me the sun and water
and we will live in harmony.
